Cricket Score

Basically, cricket score is kept by number of runs scored by either team. However, many cricketers maintain that the job of scoring is as complicated, if not more so, than playing the game itself.  Here are a few of the basics in cricket score keeping:

• The batsmen scores a run by running from one end of the batting pitch to the other.
• The batsmen can also score a run by hitting the ball over the rope marking the boundary of playing area.
• The batting team can score a run if the bowler bowls a “no ball”, bowls too widely, or if the batsmen runs when the ball comes off his body instead of the bat.
